1. You are probably aware of the importance of Rhetorical reading this far. I would like to know how you would evaluate your use of rhetorical reading strategies and whether you will have any plans to improve your rhetorical skills and what are the plans?
- My rhetorical reading strategies are defiantly high. I tend to ask myself many questions as I read articles or stories in general. I do not think there is any way to increase my rhetorical skills because I think they’re pretty high leveled at this point.
2. You are also expected to have a good understanding about Writer-Based Prose and Reader- Based Prose and the difference between them lies in the use of Rhetorical Strategies. I would like to know how you would differentiate the use of rhetorical strategies in writing (from reading as above) and what will be your plans to improve your rhetorical strategies in writing.
- I would differentiate rhetorical strategies when I’m writing something and I’m only writing it in my point of view, where only I can understand it without taking into consideration my audience (the readers). I would improve my rhetorical strategies by also writing from a reader’s point of view.

SQR QUESTIONS

What were your concerns about in an SQR? What would you like the group to consider, respond to, or evaluate on an SQR of yours?
- I personally think the articles shouldn’t be that long because the student readers then lose focus and interest. I would want the group to go over my spelling and grammar also, I feel like I’m not all that great. I would also like a very strong opinion from each group member. I honestly think when there’s more opinion written on my paper I revise it a lot better and write my next SQR a lot better also.
How did you see/evaluate the comments you made on your peers’ papers? Honestly, do you think they were really helpful (It’s ok that you can say no. If that’s the case, please state what made you unable to provide specific comments as you wished. It’s important for me to know how carefully you read your peers’ paper and how did you work on commenting your friends’ peers).
- I saw the comments on my peers’ paper were helpful, very detailed on what I thought they might need to correct. I really do think that my comments were helpful because I made sure to go over the summary, question, and response twice. If they had incorrect grammar or spelling I made sure to correct it and help make it more understandable if it wasn’t all that well written out.
